WELCOME TO MY BLOG...

Welcome to my Blog.

Having been raised in a small historic farm community in Southern Idaho known as Oakley "Home of the Pioneer's", I was excited to be given the opportunity to leave there and explore the world. My life has been enhanced by moving to a larger city and various opportunities have been given me being closer to a large city.

At a younger age I had always been amazed with the hustle and bustle of city life through movies and clips via television. I love the sounds of car horns, trains, airplanes, along with that of masses of people and various noises. However it is often nice to return home and hear the sounds of cows mooing, farm trucks, the smells of clear air, the beautiful mountains and of course the changes in weather.

I reside in sunny Palm Springs, California. Hollywood discovered Palm Springs as early as about 1910. The desert was considered a choice filming spot for many silents, and stars such as Rudolph Valentino, Ernest Torrence, Theda Bara, along with Lucille Ball could be easily spotted in town. Since then, Palm Springs has become known as "The Playground of the Stars." Spotting a movie star walking down the street, shopping or in a restaurant was a common occurrence. Palm Springs is the home of former President Ford, Liberacci, stomping grounds for President Regan, Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra, Phyllis Diller, Suzanne Summers, Barry Manilow, Tammy Fae, along with many other well known and recognized celebrities from past to current day.

I realized while growing up how much I wanted to explore the world. Being closer to a large city my ability to travel has greatly increased. So far this year for 2008, I have been able to explore Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, Frankfurt Germany, and many other portions of the United States. I am excited to see where I might decide to explore later in the fall or the beginning of next year as well, to allow the culture to influence me even more.

My passions in life include such things as travel, architecture, sushi, swimming, art, cooking, riding my motorcycle, automobiles, design, and of course my dog, Zander!

I was fortunate that at a young age to have my dad influence art to me through his occupation. He is one of 11 custom western saddle makers in the world and shares his art of saddle making with many. My mother is an amazing cook with a huge heart and has highly influenced my ability to cook and influenced my personality to have a softer side for emotion. During high school she heavily set the bar for being included in home economics to learn to do more than boil water, but also that of being able to write and express myself through words.

Here in Southern California I find that when I am not working, cooking, playing with my dog, or riding the earthquakes, I am exploring and enhancing my life through travel and adventure.

I currently hold a position for my occupation of "Chief Operations Officer" for a firm in Southern California, known as "The Capitis Group of Luxury Home Services". We are the preferred vendor's for high end luxury rentals, property management, and real estate sales. We are highly sought after and recognized as the leader in our industry by such organizations as American Express Black and Platinum Card Services, Luxury Board, Integrated Wealth Management, Concours d'Elegance, The Screen Actors Guild, Heather James Art Gallery, along with but not included to many various Celebrities worldwide.

I am fortunate to have a incredible life filled with excitement, challenges, rewards, friends, and family.

Keep looking for updated Post as I will be adding pictures soon.
